What is SPC?
SPC stands for stone plastic composite. It is a rigid core flooring made to look like wood, with a dense center that does not soak up everyday spills. That makes it a useful choice for kitchens, entries, living rooms, and finished basements. It gives you the look of a wood plank without the same worry when wet shoes or a tipped glass meet the floor.
The clear wear layer sits on top of the design and helps protect it from daily foot traffic. An attached IXPE pad comes with each of these three collections, so the plank and underlay are made to work together. SPC is also simple to care for: sweep up grit, wipe up spills, and follow the maker’s care instructions. A waterproof plank does not make a whole room waterproof; leaks and moisture below the floor still need attention.

Made for everyday life
Why choose SPC?
Waterproof core
The rigid core does not absorb common spills. That helps in busy rooms where water can land on the floor, though any leak below it still needs to be fixed.
Protection for real traffic
Citadel has a 32 mil wear layer; Montclair and Alpine each have 22 mil. All three offer a hard-wearing surface for normal daily use. Sweep away grit and use care products the maker recommends.
Coverage you can review
Each collection includes a limited lifetime residential warranty. Commercial terms differ by line. We can help you read the written warranty and match a floor to the room before you decide.
