Local carpet & vinyl expertise
Our carpet and vinyl flooring specialists help Delran homeowners compare materials and plan the right installation for each room.
Delran's Ranches, Splits, and Colonials
Delran's name comes from the Delaware and the Rancocas, the two waterways that meet here. A lot of the town filled in during the late '60s and '70s. Tenby Chase went up from about 1967 to 1979, mostly two-story colonials, with ranches up near Route 130 at the end.
Fifty-year-old houses are solid, but most are ready for new floors, and some are still hiding the old ones underneath.
Stairs, Landings, and What's Underneath
Split-levels have short sets of stairs and landings, and every one needs a clean, safe transition. Ranches are simpler: one level, often one continuous floor from the front door to the back.
Older homes may have a layer or two of old flooring to pull up first. And on a lower level or slab, we check for moisture before anything goes down.
Picking the Right Mix
In a ranch, one vinyl plank through the kitchen, hall, and living room makes the house feel bigger and is easy to keep clean. In a split or colonial, carpet upstairs and vinyl plank on the main floor is a popular mix.
We bring both to your house so you can see them next to your walls and cabinets.
How the Estimate Works
We measure every room and every stair run, then put it all in writing so you know exactly what you're paying for.
If the old floor's hiding a problem, we stop and talk it over with you first.
