Hainesport Homes Are Ready for Their First Real Floor Upgrade
A lot of Hainesport went up in the '90s and early 2000s, places like Hainesport Chase, Sage Run, Mason's Woods and Creekview. Plenty of those homes still have the carpet and vinyl the builder put down, and after 20 or 30 years it shows on the stairs and in the main hall.
The upside is that newer houses tend to have flatter subfloors and simpler layouts, so replacing the floor is often more straightforward than in an older home. We'll come out and give you a straight answer on what needs doing.
Start With the Stairs and the Main Hall
Builder carpet on the stairs is usually the first thing to go. You'll see it on the front edge of each step and on the landing. If you only tackle one thing this year, that's a good place to start.
Downstairs, the path from the garage to the kitchen takes the most abuse, especially after a muddy walk along the Rancocas or a trip to see Big Rusty, the 20-foot troll sculpture by the creek off Route 38. That path is a great spot for vinyl plank.
Trade Builder-Grade for Something That Lasts
Better carpet isn't just softer in the store. It's a denser pile and a better pad, and that's what keeps it from matting down in a few years. We'll bring samples so you can feel the difference on your own floor.
For the kitchen, family room, and mudroom, luxury vinyl plank has a water-resistant top and holds up to kids and pets. Running one plank through the open first floor most of these homes have keeps it looking clean and connected.
What to Expect
We'll measure every room and stair and give you a quote where you can see what's material, what's tear-out, what's prep and what's install.
Newer houses don't usually hide much under the floor. If yours does, you'll hear it from us before we touch it.
