Evesham Township, Beyond the Marlton Address
Most people just say Marlton, but Evesham Township covers a lot more ground. It went from about 13,000 people in 1970 to almost 47,000 in 2020, so most of the houses here were built in the last 50 years or so. Kings Grant, Marlton Lakes down at the south end, Kresson out by the Camden County line, Brush Hollow, Arrowhead: each one has its own kind of house.
A 1970s Kings Grant townhouse and a newer colonial off Route 73 aren't going to need the same floor. So we start with your house, not a one-size answer.
Kings Grant and the Lake Neighborhoods
Kings Grant started building in 1973 and now has about 2,500 homes, a mix of single homes, townhouses, and condos, many on wooded or lakefront lots. A home that's been around that long may have a layer or two of older flooring underneath. And if you're in a townhouse or condo, check your association's rules on flooring and sound before you choose a hard surface.
Near the lakes and the woods, sand, mud, and wet paws come in the door. Put your toughest, easiest-to-clean floor right where that lands.
Matching the Floor to the House
In the bigger colonials and split-levels around the township, a lot of people go with carpet upstairs and vinyl plank on the main floor. In a single-level townhouse, one plank running through the whole place can make it feel bigger.
Not sure which way to go? We'll bring both and lay them out in your rooms so you can see them in your own light.
Getting a Quote
We measure, look at the stairs, landings and doorways, and write up a quote that splits out material, removal, prep and install.
Find something under the old floor? We'll tell you right away, and you decide what happens next.
